Griffith's back and in full force.
It's safe to say that when the Griffith brothers play, the Arrowhawks become a tough team to beat. The same was true last night when the team took on long time rival the Mamas and Papas in front of a crowd of 7, at least 4 of those got lost going to the bathroom during the Blue Jacket game and ended up watching the CAHL contest. The Griffith brothers dominated and accounted for 5 of the teams goals as the Hawks prevailed 8-2. Kevin led the way with 4 assists and Bryan chipped in 2 of his own, also contributing was Defenseman Mac Lawless who potted the first 2 goals of the game. Jason Jensen made several key saves but was largely untested. During the post game press confrence all Jensen could talk about was the new custom goalie pads that the team has ordered...when asked about the game Jensen said "you don't understand, their black and red!" The team will have a bye week this week and will take on the Maple Leafs for the 3rd time this season in 2 weeks...

I've seen those Griffith boys play. They have great skill, but they are overrated. Especially that #36 Bryce Griffith. Yeah, he'll say he's good and he likes to talk a lot while he's out there, but the Hawks 2nd line is the real magic. It's like sweet poetry, only not so gay.
