The Hawks #1 fan Alana Jensen, wife of goaltender Jason Jensen, answered the following 5 questions.
1) What's it like being the official number one fan of the Hawks?
Ah... well, you know, you go out there and you give a 110%, and you wanna cheer good, and, you know, you hope you cheer good... I think we cheered pretty good tonight!
2) Have you ever watched your husband play goal and think 'Why the hell did I marry such a wild man in net?"
I like guys that protect the net. ;)
3) Be honest... At any point during any game have you ever wondered if one of Jason's slashes weren't justified?
I wouldn't have any Monday morning water cooler stories if he didn't slash people. But really, I don't have a water cooler at work. We're too cheap. It's just a filter system that's hooked up to the sink. It filters the water. It can make the water hot too. It doesn't make that fun bubbly sound though. It's pretty cool. Oh wait, we were talking about J's slashes, yeah right, I was distracted by the shiny cheerleaders on the high def TV. Yeah, J should totally keep slashing people.
4) If you and Mac Lawless played chess, would you win? Do you think he really looks goofy being so tall?
Of course I would win! I have no idea how to play chess, but I would just keep the beer coming until I won. No, I like the tallness; it's the long monkey arms that makes him look goofy.
5) Rumor has it you knit to control your emotions during the game. Do you think Justin Timberlake could do a better job managing the Hawks lines so you wouldn't have to crochet during games?
Indeed I do. Someday everyone will have an Arrowhawks scarf, or blanket or sock. Just one sock. Justin Timberlake is going to rule the world! He's bringin' sexy back...yeah!
