Depleted Hawks try to thaw Eskimos

COLD, DAMP OHIO - The roster-depleted Arrowhawks will do their best tonight against the Freakin' Eskimos, league leaders and winners of their last 6 games. Five starters will miss tonight's game. Reasons range from injury to "someone stole my car again."

The following is an actual quote from a real live Eskimo.

"The Eskimos are looking forward to the game versus the Arrowhawks tonight. We have a great rivalry against those guys and every game versus them is always a challenge. They skate hard end to end, pass and shoot well, and do all the little things you need to win close games. They don't really have any weaknesses on their roster, except for Kevin. He couldn't cut it as a free agent for us one season and had decided to go back to the Arrowhawks before we had to cut him. ;-) Hopefully, we can pull out another big victory."

- Eric Ott, Defenseman

Although the Hawks will be short, they haven't let it effect their enthusiasm.

"There will be cold beer at the bar after the game," said John Kenyon.
