9:40 PM - NORTH 1
CS Bank -vs- Maple Leafs
Those darn Leafs are geared up this session. They handed the Hawks their only loss of the session, 5-4 and will certainly be among the league leaders to win it all. After all, if you can defeat the Hawks you've got to either be damn good or have lots of free beer so Mac and company can't skate well.
CS Bank usually plays very good positional hockey, but they appear to be struggling a bit this session. Scoring is down and that means it'll be a tough go. They're currently tied with Discover for 8th place in the division with a 1-3-1 record and 3 points. They've got strong goaltending and will be geared to go, but we just can't see them overtaking the Leafs.
Predication: Leafs 6, CS Bank 2
10:00 PM ICE WORKS
Bombers -vs- Arrowhawks
The sixth place Bombers are coming off a 2-2 tie with CS Bank last week. If they want to make a charge up the standings, they'll need to start soon. The Hawks handed the perennial powerhouse Chaos their second loss of the season last Friday. It was a rough, physical game that went back and forth all night. Jason Jensen's play in net always give the Hawks a chance to win. Bryce Griffith is absolutely on fire, as is the law firm line of Griffith, Griffith and Griffith. If the bombers are going to win, they'll need to capitalize on scoring chances and keep the Hawks top 2 lines at bay.
Predication: Hawks 4, Bombers 2
10:30 PM DISPATCH ICE HAUS
Eskimos -vs- Chaos
What a matchup this will be. Both teams are tied with six points in the division and are desperate for a win. Chaos is pissed they've lost 2 games already. The Eskimos are in the same boat. The big difference? Goal scoring -- and the Eskimos ugly yellow jerseys. Chaos has scored 14 more goals then the Spring session champion, Eskimos (10). Although the Mo's play well in both zones, Chaos is just too talented.
Predication: Chaos 5, Eskimos 1
