B's drop a tough one 2-1, shootout
The Jr. B’s lost in a shoot out to the Sasquatch during the matinee game at the Dublin Chiller last night in front of friends, family and a few custodians. Troy Cameron, younger brother of Jr. B center Todd Cameron slipped one by goalie Hub Burton in the last round of the shoot out. Hub was donning his Herb Brooks autographed 1960 U.S. Olympic Team jersey but that did not seem to intimidate the younger Cameron. The bench was in shock, Todd told his line-mates that this would be the talk of the table next Thanksgiving, he may have to plan a trip out of town. The twin D towers, Tim the falcon Barber and Mark Sparty McGee both spent time in the box on lame calls by the officials. The Jr. B’s have dropped to 1-8 and this was their third shoot out loss of the session. Coach Neil Richard reported that AWOL wing Tony Mampieri cleared waivers last week and is no longer with the team. After customers complained from the stench, the Chiller reportedly removed Mampieri’s jock from the sidewalk and put it on display with the facilities Sani Sport machine.
