Captain doubtful for Big Pucks

WORTHINGTON, OH - Mark Monahan, the Arrowhawks captain for the last 2 years and the vocal leader of the club, is doubtful for tomorrow's tilt against the session champion Big Pucks. Team officials would only describe the injury as an upper body matter. A team source had this to say, "It's not between his ears. We've always known that part of Mark was sound. It's not his hands or his elbows. That's all I'll say," he said discreetly.

Monahan's loss would be huge to the Hawks. He leads the team in points this session and is far and away the team's best looking player.

"All the ladies love Mark," said Nick Lanctot. "We think it's his hair. He has nice hair."

If Mark can't go, the Hawks would likely recall Kevin Griffith from the farm club. Stay tuned for recent news.
