The Prediction

 

"You guys won't win tonight. You're all too old, too slow and too damn lousy at the game to win. Except Monahan and Bryce, that is. Oleg is from russia, sure, but that doesn't get you much these days. Carp is a cagey vet capable of an occasional rub off the puck or forecheck success, but he's largely only a role player. Torsok's plodding skating style is reminiscent of pre-world war II European hockey. Gooch will spend the entire night camped out in the penalty box playing with his new set of army men. Mac will join him 3 times for various overly aggressive penalties, bringing his new plastic tanks off the bench each time. Kenyon's improved high-slot play will be open all night but nobody will pass it to him because everyone's so self-involved in their own season-ending stats — especially that puck hog Kevin who's convinced he's the league MVP. Tom will be bothered all night by the haunting image of the Panther goaltender making save after save and laughing about it. Monahan will decide to carry the puck all night to prove a point that it's a 5 man game and not all about one player, but will get tired in the process and not be able to play the 3rd period. Tron will fall over the blueline. DesRoches won't show up because he isn't on the roster. Terry will singlehandedly block 9 shots. Jensen tries to avoid getting puck marks on his new pads so he avoids the pucks. Bryan will score a goal. The reality

 

The Arrowhawks won 4-2 bringing their record to 9-2.  The Arrowhawks have clinched the CAHL Presidents trophy, finishing with at least 18 points.  The Arrowhawks still have one more game to play before the playoffs.  The last remaining game will be a Monday night game, on Dec 1st.
