There's a rumor in league circles that the Arrowhawks have traded injured winger Nick Elswick to the San Jose Sharks for tough guy and Columbus fan favorite, Jody Shelley.
The following was sent to us from an anonymous fan of the club.
"The attached picture, although a bit blurry (since I didn't want to look like a huge tool taking a picture of Jody Shelly skating at the chiller) is Jody in his first ever skate wearing an Arrowhawks jersey!"
"No comment" was the official response from the Arrowhawk front office. We'll work to confirm this rumor until we either fall asleep from boredom or from excessive alcohol intake, whichever is first.
