Hawks face Mamas in opening playoff game

The #2 seeded Arrowhawks, led by injured 2nd line winger and best looking guy on the team, Tom Morgan, face off against the Mamas and Papas this Friday. The opening round playoff game marks the 4th consecutive session the Arrowhawks have made the playoffs. The Hawks finished the summer session strong, posting impressive wins over Lady Chatterly's and the same team they'll face Friday, the Mamas and Papas. The Hawks finished 9-2-1, with 19 points and was second only to More Cowbell in goal differential (38-33) but led the league in goals allowed with 25.

"No doubt a tribute to the best goalie in the league, Jason Jensen," said #48Mike Gauthier. "He's been on his game this session, despite getting married."

"Don't forget Shawn," added #25 Chris Carpenter. "He's made us forget Jason even existed with kicksave after kicksave."

The leading goal scorer on the session was probably #17 Mark Monahan or #15 Mac Lawless, who filled in on a limited basis, but did qualify for the playoffs. #5 Oleg was terrific all session, adding some highlight goals along the way.
