1) Who’s better, Carp on the breakaway or Jensen on the breakaway?
This is one of those existential questions, right? Like ‘What is the sound of one hand clapping?’ or ‘If a tree falls in the woods, but nobody hears it, did it really make a sound?’. I’m going with Carp, but only because if Jensen is on a breakaway, he’s really out of position.
2) Have you ever complained about the intensity of the Arrowhawks off-session conditioning program?
As competitive as the Friday night league has become, there’s really no off-season anymore and we all understand that. It’s a full-time job making sure we’re ready for Friday night. Our team-issue “What have you done today to beat More Cowbell” signs are all the inspiration we need. Wait, are they still in the league?
3) If management ever talked to you about playing on a line with Titus and Bill Miller would you quit?
Nah. I think we’d be a pretty good energy line. Plus we’d yell a lot. It’s fun to yell at Billy.
4) What’s it like playing hockey with a guy like Mac Lawless?
Mac definitely owns the best t-shirt collection on the team. Plus he’s tall. I’d say it’s like playing with a tall guy with funny t-shirts.
5) What does it mean to you to be a captain for such a powerhouse like the Arrowhawks?
Doesn’t it mean that I’m the last one off the boat, like the captain of the Titanic? I hope we never do a team fishing trip.
