Mid summer status

Well fans, the Hawks summer session is under way and despite a couple of tough losses the Hawks are alive and well in the division. Tom Morgan has regained his form as a dangerous sniper. Mark Monahan is living up to top center billing, controlling the puck in both zones, scoring and feeding anyone in scoring position. The defense is being led by Nate Mensel, Mike Gauthier and the smartest Hawk ever, Terry Walker. Overall the 4 wins have come from stingy neutral zone play and incredible goaltending from the league's best netminder, Jason 'Wall of China' Jensen.

Missing from the summer lineup is the Griffith brothers & Mac Lawless, but they'll be back in the fall, ready to defend the title.

John 'Killer' Kenyon and Chris Carpenter have been gritty players along the boards and have contributed to the offensive attack. Torsok has been down with a lower body injury but is ready to return to form soon.

"Torsok's presence in front has been missed but we've done what we can," said Mark Monahan. "The garbage man is ready to stink it up soon," he added.

Stay tuned fans, the session is up for grabs.
